SHOCK, A SENATE COMMITTEE WORKING Week of 2019/12/30
A pleasant surprise appeared in the Tulsa World, daily newspaper, on
December 21. Somewhat buried on page A-6 was an AP story credited to Matthew
Daly headlined "Senate approves 13 judge nominees".Well it's about time some
recognition in reporting be given to the Senate Judiciary Committee for actually doing
the assigned duties, that is processing judge appointments made by the president.
The story stated that the "Senators had confirmed a batch of 13 'conservative'
judicial nominees, bringing to 102 the number approved this year - more than twice
the annual average over the past three decades".
A radio talk show a few days later raised the number to 105, if memory is
accurate. It should be remembered that one of the PRESDT-45 promises in
campaigning was to nominate more Constitutionally oriented judges to the Federal
courts, a promise he has solidly, and it seems eagerly, kept.
It continues to state that this year numbers included 20 to the Courts of appeals
and bringing the total to those, in my opinion, rather notorious in past decades for
being "activist" oriented, courts to 50 in the three years he has been in office. He has
often ranted about the bias of the Ninth Circuit of Appeals Court, sitting in San
Francisco. In every case, the appointments have been to fill a vacant seat, telling me
that his predecessors were not doing their jobs in making appointments, or the Senate
was not moving to approve appointments that were being made. In some cases that
might have been proper since the candidate may have had the wrong, in the Senate
point of view, Constitutional persuasion.
Just a little background here, from my memory. During the administration of
PRESJC-39,D-GA, a cry arose from those using the Federal Court system, at all
levels, that the court dockets were overcrowded and Congress passed for him a law
which doubled the number of judicial seats and allowed him to appoint that number
as well as nominations for vacancies that existed or came open and thus he was
responsible for well over half of the resulting number of judges. Every one appointed
during his term of office, from January, 77 to January, 80, were of the more 'activist'
type giving the us situation we have been in since.
Of course, the Supreme Court was not affected. The Constitution provides for
establishing the Supreme Court and Authorizes the Congress to establish such lower
courts as seem to be needed. In any event, since all these Federal Judges are
appointed for 'life', it will be a number of decades before there will be a reversal of
what he is now on the way to accomplishing, to our benefit!!
Credit should also be given to the Judiciary Committee of the Senate which has
not been historically prompt in evaluating his nominations and passing judgement on
them to be appointed. In my memory is a nomination of one of my closest friends,
Wm. H. Erickson of Denver to the Supreme Court, I believe in the late 1970's.
He was extremely well qualified, but when he was seated for his hearing before the
Committee, the first thing out of the mouth of the then chairman, Paul Simon, D-IL,
was, as reported to me, "Mr. Erickson I'm here to tell you that unless you resign
your membership in Cherry Hills Country Club, you wont even get a hearing in
this Committee". According to Bill, he replied "Mr. Chairman, in that case you can
shove the nomination in your ear" and walked out of the room, my understanding
with the media cameras still rolling. Bill later became Chief Justice of the Colorado
Supreme Court.
This has stuck in my mind since because of the irony and displayed bias and
ignorance of Senator Simon, who was of the Jewish Faith but did not know that
not one Jew had ever applied to Cherry Hills because they had an older and equally
beautiful country club with no gentile members. I had a couple of chances to play
their golf course in professional association golf tournaments and can attest to the
ambiance there, but have never been on the Cherry Hills course..
In any event it was surprising to me to see the article in the World but thank
them for at least carrying it since the record of achievement has not bee seen
elsewhere!!

VIEW:19-41: The Crazy, Lying Democrat Party Leaders

THE CRAZY, LYING DEMOCRAT PARTY LEADERS Should Have Been 2019/10/14
It seems to me that there has become no limit to the ridiculous lengths that the
leaders of the Democrat Party will go in their attempts to demean and, if possible, destroy
their perceived enemies with an 'R' behind their name in the voting registration records.
And that extends down to those as low as myself now dealing with a major hacking in my
computer that keeps it from downloading any Emails. As a result of that, a few of my
recipient friends have reported that theirs to me have rejected, probably because the
mailbox is full.
That has brought to mind the notion that unless the right thinking forces in
Government stop winking at the various violations of the Constitutionally guaranteed civil
rights start arresting and incarcerating those who do such violations, as well as those
leaders who openly push their listeners to commit the violations, they will only become
worse until someone is severely injured or killed. It is a demonstrated fact of life that as
long as evil people get away with doing wrong they, and thers of like mind, will only
intensify and multiply their conduct.
All such activities usually begin with 'mean-mouthed' diatribes against the perceived
enemy such as we have heard and seen in various media occurring on the floor and in the
halls of the National Capitol. In 85 years of being bombarded with film, radio, and finally
TV 'news' casts of the activities going on never have my eyes and ears been so offended
by the mean faced intensity and nasty language being thrown out by individuals, including
women who could not be labeled 'ladies' at any time by me. Frankly such conduct, in my
opinion, is terribly demeaning to the expected dignity of either House of Congress and it is
sad that the elected leaders do not take a strong hand to quell such as soon as it surfaces.
But then, at least in the case of Speaker Pelosi, appears likely that she is afraid of the
most radicalized members of her caucus.
But then, it has been for some time that those elected to leadership on the Republican
side have failed to demand restraint in words and actions from the members when they have
the top leadership positions. Instead, they seem to feel that setting an example of good
conduct will rub off and make things develop the way they should from the opposition. Well,
I have news for them. It doesn't work. Wrongdoers must be called to account and censured
or expelled. In fact, the rules in both houses provide that any member can be removed from
Congress by a vote of the members, and it has been done in past years.
All that is fine, but it certainly enhances the problem when smaller sized government
leaders order their police to 'stand down' and let rioters continue to 'protest' and destroy
property and injure bystanders, such has been seen on a number of college campuses and
certain big cities whose officials must themselves be radical, or sympathetic to those in the
streets.
Taking all this into account, it seems most likely that the split-up of the Republic
known as the USA postulated in the book "The Last American President" by Richard
Engle will come to pass. Perhaps not in the exact way predicted, but still to result in a
series of small, few state, nations. The disparity of attitudes now prevalent among the
various states could be a snapshot of what is coming. All this could very easily come to
pass, even in what remains in my lifetime. But my feeble efforts will continue to cast light
on the goings on to, hopefully, side-track and delay, or prevent it from coming to fruition.
Only time will tell.

problem to life is the heavy allowance of massive legal, and more massive illegal, invasion,
as opposed to immigration, of peoples coming here for the promised 'freebies' rather than
to really immerse in our way of life in order to improve their own. We should go back to
the requirements of past decades that someone coming here MUST have a citizen willing
to vouch and care for them. They must learn our language and have a desire to integrate
fully and become a fruitful worker, rather than send most of their earnings "back home".
It just is not feasible to indefinitely provide for non-citizens to live on the tax-paying rest
of us. Further the practice in some states to issue drivers licenses to non-citizens to use
as voting proof MUST be brought to an end.

series of small, few state, nations. The disparity of attitudes now prevalent among the
various states could be a snapshot of what is coming. All this could very easily come to
pass, even in what remains in my lifetime. But my feeble efforts will continue to cast light
on the goings on to, hopefully, side-track and delay, or prevent it from coming to fruition.
Only time will tell.
It has come to my attention that one of the worst things that is bring bringing this
problem to life is the heavy allowance of massive legal, and more massive illegal, invasion,
as opposed to immigration, of peoples coming here for the promised 'freebies' rather than
to really immerse in our way of life in order to improve their own. We should go back to
the requirements of past decades that someone coming here MUST have a citizen willing
to vouch and care for them. They must learn our language and have a desire to integrate
fully and become a fruitful worker, rather than send most of their earnings "back home".
It just is not feasible to indefinitely provide for non-citizens to live on the tax-paying rest
of us. Further the practice in some states to issue drivers licenses to non-citizens to use
as voting proof MUST be brought to an end.

time demands and side effect weakness prevented fulfilling my plans. I hope to be
able to fill in the missing items as more time and energy becomes available. In the
meantime my grateful gratitude and thanks for friends and readers who have raised
prayers and sympathy for my recovery.
One thing that continues to bug me is what appears to be a failure of
designers and builders of the myriad makes and models of vehicles being
produced for us to purchase and drive on the roads today. In some cases
perfectly good designs have been dropped and replaced with some actually less
safe and/or convenient to the drivers. That problem also seems to pervade the
professions of road and street design and construction. Those circumstances
must, however, wait for a different effort on my part.
Primary interest today is the placement of side mirrors on the front doors
of vehicles, particularly when they have a fixed protrudenance out from the
vehicle side. They do present a danger to individuals on foot that the vehicle
may pass too closely causing severe injury, or even death. One of the side
effects of my treatments has brought home to me one of the more serious
problems of this arrangements. The radiation treatments caused a substantial
loss of skin where the X-Rays entered my neck which made it most difficult,
and painful, to turn my head to the right to use that mirror. It one day dawned on
me that that location required a head turn of 90 degrees to use the mirror while the
one on the left (driver's door) only needed a turn of no more than half that, thus
removing the eyes of the driver too long from the front for safety.
That thought reminded me of a family situation back in 1959. Wife decided
it was time for a new car as she had been driving one of two left in Denver by her
Dad or Sister and Mother. Thus, a new Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible was
ordered to my specifications late in the model year in July or early August. In fact,
when it arrived we were told that it was the last convertible to leave the line that
model year. In particular, among some other 'niceties' it had side mirrors, but
they were placed on the fenders. They were, and are, nicely swept and so
designed to produce less air drag than the ones in use today, and because of the
location had a broader width of vision and little to no extension beyond the side of
the car. Thus the driver only had to turn his/her eyes rather than head to view the
sides of the car. A much, much safer way to operate.
Incidentally, the car is still in the family. It survived wife, her daughter
taking it to college in Gunnison, Colorado, on the West side of the Divide, Son
No. 1, Son No. 2, Daughter No. 2 and perhaps Son No. 3, and now has
returned to Son No. 2 who prizes it strongly and drives it sparingly and still look
new with about 100 thousand miles of experience. Among other 'conveniences'
the front seats could swivel out about 45 degrees for more convenient entry and
exit, it had 'push button' transmission shifting (much better in case of a need to
rock the car to unstick from mud or snow), and factory air conditioning, which
Son No. 2 was told by a collector wanting to buy it from him for a monster price,
'there was no convertible made that year with factory air' to which he replied that
he remembered it was there when it came. Perhaps the collector's information
was authentic but this one not included because of the lateness of its assembly.
In any event, it would be nice if someone would come out with such as
'aftermarket' to add, and complete with the current convex glass and remote
adjusting. Just a thought.

Oklahoma law passed, 37 to 9 an amendment to place the Ten
Commandments on the front entrance to the state capitol. The feds in D.C.,

Guess what... Oklahoma did it anyway.
Oklahoma recently passed a law in the state to incarcerate all illegal
immigrants and ship them back to where they came from unless they want to

Recently they passed a law to include DNA samples from any and all

An update from Oklahoma:
Oklahoma law passed, 37 to 9 an amendment to place the Ten
Commandments on the front entrance to the state capitol. The feds in D.C.,
along with the ACLU, said it would be a mistake. Hey this is a conservative
state, based on Christian values ... HB 1333
Guess what... Oklahoma did it anyway.
Oklahoma recently passed a law in the state to incarcerate all illegal
immigrants and ship them back to where they came from unless they want to
get a green card and become an American citizen. They all scattered. HB
1804. This was against the advice of the Federal Government, and the ACLU,
they said it would be a mistake.
Guess what... Oklahoma did it anyway.
Recently they passed a law to include DNA samples from any and all
illegal's to the Oklahoma database, for criminal investigative purposes.
Pelosi said it was unconstitutional SB1102.
Guess what... Oklahoma did it anyway.
Several weeks ago, Oklahoma passed a law, declaring Oklahoma as a
Sovereign state, not under the Federal Government directives. Joining, Texas,
Montana and Utah as the only states to do so.
More states are likely to follow: Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, the Carolinas,
Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, West Virginia, Mississippi and Florida. Save
your confederate money, it appears the South is about to rise up once again.

Oklahoma, a week ago, passed a law confirming people in this state have the
right to bear arms and transport them in their vehicles. I'm sure that was a

Just this month, the state has voted and passed a law that ALL drivers'
license exams will be printed in English and only English and no other language.
They have been called racist for doing this, but the fact is that ALL of the

The wild and false claims and accusations rising from those of the C/F/S
part of the Democrat Party (True Name) seem to be increasingly loud,
ridiculous, nasty, and totally untrue. This leads me, and others, to the conclusion
that they are in a state of complete panic. Of course, we should remember that
the more radical and dedicated to their program individuals are merely accusing
we on the other side of the fence of doing the exact same things that they have
been, and are continuing, doing. In some cases the accusations levied against
PRESDT-45 are things that PRESBO-44 actually did, and was able to get away
with because of a now known to be corrupt and criminal Department of Justice
and FBI. Evidence of that is the complete cover up of the listed violations of
Secretary of State Clinton that if done by a Republican they would still be
screaming about, and most likely have moved to jail the Secretary and numerous
other supporters without a fair trial.
It seems to me that Speaker "Queen Nancy" may very well be a captive
of the rebellious radical and far left members of her caucus. She has several
times mentioned no desire for a move to impeach PRESDT-45 but they
continue to scream for that to happen, all without any proof of wrongdoing that
would meet the Constitutional grounds for such. And yet, there seems to be no
move on the part of the Administration to move on those making open threats
against the life of him and those close to him.
What, in my opinion, is even worse is there appears to be no 'ground
swell' in the respective districts to remove from office even the worst
offenders of human and civil decency so prevalent on the 'left side of the isle'
in the House and Senate chambers. Thus, if these malcontents should
succeed in their efforts to bring about radical change in our laws, government
make-up and lives, the ultimate blame would have to rest on the voters in
their districts who put, and keep, them in office.
They, and some RINOs on the other side of the isles, act even on the
floor very much like rebellious Communists and Socialists in many other
countries. Yet they scream the PRESDT-45 acts so "unpresidential". It may
be that he is merely egging them on to become so way-out that the voters will
actually wake up and do the right thing on election day.
Oh, and don't forget those radicals in the major media, particularly in
the cable 'news' TV stations who seem to make the most outrageous lies and
with total impunity. One rarely, if ever, hears of one of them being even
criticized or relieved of duty, as has been done to a few of those on the other
side of the political fence for just one mistake or even being accused of such.
Sadly it appears that the management of same is totally dedicated to the
destruction of our REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC form of government and
its replacement with the worst form of dictatorship so far known, and maybe
even worse than that.
Frankly it has taken almost 100 years to bring us to the condition we
find ourselves now in, and the education system has been apparently taken
over by like-minded individuals so that schools, at all levels now, are turning
out as adults dedicated to the 'left wing' cause and the bringing most of the
population of the World into a slavery life style for their own pleasure and
enrichment. So, no matter the amount of effort put forth by right-thinking
population, it will take almost that much time to reverse the direction and
put us on the road to a free nation again.
Unfortunately, some of the laws passed in the 1930s under the
administration of FDR (four terms) makes it difficult to remove wrong acting
personnel from their positions. Information given me first hand from
government supervisory employees has indicated that at least two years is
involved in removing any non-functioning or unlawful acting subordinate so
that the end result is to just transfer said person somewhere else and "let
someone else worry with him/her".
However, with the help of GOD it is still possible to turn the tide and
save our Nation!!

VIEW: 19-39: False World End Predictions

FALSE WORLD END PREDICTIONS Week of 2019/09/30
It seems like the loud, false, and ignorant claims emanating from those deeply rooted
in the C/F/S political philosophy have no real clue concerning the 'climate change' causing the
end of the world being brought about by the efforts of mankind. If the truth be known, it is
probably the height of arrogance for anyone in the human race to believe that we have that much
power that, especially through carelessness, ignorance, or even deliberate misconduct
completely destroy this rather exceedingly well put together planet. Those of us who have a
solid belief in a creator GOD properly have comfort that HIS power is sufficient to overcome
our occasional stupidity.
In the meantime there is a continuing and overwhelming parade of misrepresentation and
outright lies being spued forth by the 'end of the World' evil intent mob whose real intent is
to come into total and complete power over the entire World in a brutal, depraved C/F/S
dictatorship. A complete list of wrongful statements and prognostignations would likely
require a rather sizeable book, so space and time does not allow for such here.
One of the most gregarious of those claims is that carbon dioxide is a 'hothouse gas'
and must be removed from the atmosphere, at all costs. Well, facts given to those in my
classes in school seem to totally refute the claim, and actually to, if removal were
accomplished, bring about the removal of ALL life on the planet. We were taught, and shown by
properly designed experiments, that all animal life, including humans, MUST have oxygen to
exist and that most, if not all, plant life must have carbon dioxide. The plants take in the
CO2 and exude oxygen in a marvelous circle of life-giving gases.
Also, water is H2O so there could be a source of O2 for the animal life, but to break
it out of the water would take massive amounts of energy, more than the so-called 'renewable'
sources of wind and solar could ever provide. Yet these misguided types, such as the "squad"
would have us forgo ALL so-called 'fossil fuels' in the false name of 'clean air'. No
explanation has been forthcoming as to how one would get across the seas without fossil fuels,
particularly in the several hour trip in an airplane verses months in a sail powered one, such
as the pilgrims did in 1620 and continued until the invention of steam power, from oil, gas, or
atomic fuel. One such completely off-base individual suggested 'take a train to Hawaii'. That
would involve a rather massive tunnel construction and maintenance use of liquid fuel, not to
mention the power for such trains. It would make the cross-channel 'chunnel' project appear to
be a mere toy in comparison.
True history is full of massive variations in the climate, both localized and
World-wide. In my memory is the 'dust-bowl' days of the 1930s where we, not having air
conditioning in homes, were forced to set up cots and sleep in the back yard during the Summer.
Then in the Winter the lakes and ponds in the parks of Tulsa would freeze over a few years
later for ice skating, as well as on streets after an ice, freezing rain, or snow/melt cycle
for as long as at least a week. In fact in later years our Grand Lake was so frozen over that
an adventuress individual actually drove his car across it from one 'road' to the other, where
before the lake flooded it there had been a road down to a ford across the Grand River.
Another, and rather expensive, pontification from the Government was the declaration
that Freon, for auto air conditioning was "destroying the Ozone layer" which resides at an
altitude almost out of the atmosphere top. Knowing that Freon is heavier than air it has
mystified me that no one has ever advanced a logical reason how the Freon was able to get up to
the OL to do damage. More evidence of the arrogant attitude of both politicians and
bureaucrats spending our money, just to be doing it, and 'because it is there'. Also, the
adverse actions of the 'open border' and 'naturalize everyone' disaster bringers will certainly
aggravate the situation. That movement is merely to guarantee that they will become a
permanent cruel ruling class!!
If we 'common sense' thinking part of the population do not get active to require some
changes and vote into retirement those on the wrong side it will be a speedy road into slavery
and/or early death.

It seems like the loud, false, and ignorant claims emanating from those deeply rooted
in the C/F/S political philosophy have no real clue concerning the 'climate change' causing the
end of the world being brought about by the efforts of mankind. If the truth be known, it is
probably the height of arrogance for anyone in the human race to believe that we have that much
power that, especially through carelessness, ignorance, or even deliberate misconduct
completely destroy this rather exceedingly well put together planet. Those of us who have a
solid belief in a creator GOD properly have comfort that HIS power is sufficient to overcome
our occasional stupidity.
In the meantime there is a continuing and overwhelming parade of misrepresentation and
outright lies being spued forth by the 'end of the World' evil intent mob whose real intent is
to come into total and complete power over the entire World in a brutal, depraved C/F/S
dictatorship. A complete list of wrongful statements and prognostignations would likely
require a rather sizeable book, so space and time does not allow for such here.
One of the most gregarious of those claims is that carbon dioxide is a 'hothouse gas'
and must be removed from the atmosphere, at all costs. Well, facts given to those in my
classes in school seem to totally refute the claim, and actually to, if removal were
accomplished, bring about the removal of ALL life on the planet. We were taught, and shown by
properly designed experiments, that all animal life, including humans, MUST have oxygen to
exist and that most, if not all, plant life must have carbon dioxide. The plants take in the
CO2 and exude oxygen in a marvelous circle of life-giving gases.
Also, water is H2O so there could be a source of O2 for the animal life, but to break
it out of the water would take massive amounts of energy, more than the so-called 'renewable'
sources of wind and solar could ever provide. Yet these misguided types, such as the "squad"
would have us forgo ALL so-called 'fossil fuels' in the false name of 'clean air'. No
explanation has been forthcoming as to how one would get across the seas without fossil fuels,
particularly in the several hour trip in an airplane verses months in a sail powered one, such
as the pilgrims did in 1620 and continued until the invention of steam power, from oil, gas, or
atomic fuel. One such completely off-base individual suggested 'take a train to Hawaii'. That
would involve a rather massive tunnel construction and maintenance use of liquid fuel, not to
mention the power for such trains. It would make the cross-channel 'chunnel' project appear to
be a mere toy in comparison.
True history is full of massive variations in the climate, both localized and
World-wide. In my memory is the 'dust-bowl' days of the 1930s where we, not having air

Then in the Winter the lakes and ponds in the parks of Tulsa would freeze over a few years
later for ice skating, as well as on streets after an ice, freezing rain, or snow/melt cycle
for as long as at least a week. In fact in later years our Grand Lake was so frozen over that
an adventuress individual actually drove his car across it from one 'road' to the other, where
before the lake flooded it there had been a road down to a ford across the Grand River.
Another, and rather expensive, pontification from the Government was the declaration

If you realize each day is a gift, you may be near my age. As I enjoy

With the fairly recent spate of 'mass shootings' that has occurred
the cry has again been raised to institute "gun registration" on a national
basis as well as in some states. History has proven time and again that
when guns are outlawed or confiscated (bought back) the statement
"When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns" has been proven
to be totally true. It seems to me that those clamoring the loudest and
most violent for this form of enforced slavery are the ones that tend the
most toward C/F/S and the dictatorship that is necessary to keep such
a form of ruling in place.
Unfortunately the 'major' media appears to be totally captured by
improperly educated or totally misguided "journalism graduates" who
will do and say anything to further that agenda of radically changing the
form of government we were given in the Constitution of the United
States of America. In my mind they are just as much guilty of 'revolution',
and sometimes treason, as the most violent of 'protesters', more properly
called just 'rioters', if reporting was done truthfully.
Back to the subject of guns. Some time ago an Email was received
by me, and promptly forwarded to my list of regular recipients, that was
titled "Lazy Glock". If memory is serving correct it was prepared by the
sender Jim Solomon, referred to by me as YRH (Your Royal Highness)
from his family name. While not repeating the entire wording carried

'mass shooter' had been turned down for a legal gun purchase by the

In such a case where the buyer had been turned down, both buyer and
seller should be brought to justice with the most severe penalties rendered.
Along that line, it has occurred to me that in the present system when
a prospective buyer has passed the electronic check and approved to
purchase, a certificate, or approval card should be issued so that it would
not be necessary to go through the expense and delay for future purchases.
If he/she did something later that would render the carrier ineligible the card
or certificate holder would have to surrender it, just as with a driver license.
We all need to be alert and watchful and report any evidence of a
person's strange actions. There also needs to be better connection and
reporting of such so that the process can be more reliable. Further, we
need to keep in mind that those who scream the loudest and are demanding,
or campaign promising, to 'take all military style guns away' are very likely
to be considering something nefarious in the future. In the world of politics
and criminal activities those most likely so inclined will be the ones shouting
the loudest to disarm the law abiding population so that they might not be
confronted. This is all being done with the ultimate goal of a World
dominated by a dictatorial and repressive government that has no respect for
others and intends to keep us all in poverty and prison like subjugation for
their own comfort and enrichment. Should they succeed the living conditions
in the World would make the situations in Europe under the Nazi "Socialist
Republic of Germany" seem like a playground!!!

called just 'rioters', if reporting was done truthfully.

titled "Lazy Glock". If memory is serving correct it was prepared by the
sender Jim Solomon, referred to by me as YRH (Your Royal Highness)

Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas and a total of 15,000
Iranians were forced to leave the USA in 1979.
So, what do you say about all of the criticism that Donald Trump received
from the Democratic senators, representatives and the Obama Administration?

requires that an "applicant for immigration must be of good moral character and
in agreement with the principles of our Constitution."
Therefore, one could surmise that since the Quran forbids Muslims to swear

Wouldn't it be interesting if, at some point during the presidential campaign, if one
of the In candidates asked, "Oh, by the way, has anyone in Washington, D.C., ever
heard of the McCarran-Walter Act Of 1952?"
I did not know of this act until recently, but it has been a law for more than 65
years.
Here are the historic facts that would seem to indicate that many, if not most,
of the people we elect to work for us in Washington do not have the slightest idea
of what laws already exist in OUR country.
After several terrorist incidents were carried out in the United States, Donald
Trump was severely criticized for suggesting that the U.S. should limit or temporarily
suspend the immigration of certain ethnic groups, nationalities and even people of
certain religions (Muslims). The criticisms condemned such a suggestion as, among
other things, being un-American, dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous and racist.
Congressmen and senators swore that they would never allow such legislation,
and our president called such a prohibition on immigration unconstitutional.
As Gomer Pyle would say, "Well, surprise, surprise!"
It seems that the selective immigration ban is already law and has been applied on
several occasions.
Known as the McCarran-Walter Act, the Immigration and Nationality Act of
1952 allows for the"suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by the
president, whenever the president finds that the entry of aliens or of any class of
aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States."
"The president may, by proclamation and for such a period as he shall deem
necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens, immigrants or non-
immigrants, or impose any restrictions on the entry of aliens he may deem to be
appropriate."
Who was president when this was passed? Democrat Harry Truman.
Who do you suppose last used this process? Democrat Jimmy Carter, no
less than 37 years ago, in 1979 to keep Iranians out of the United States. But
Carter actually did more. He made ALL Iranian students, already in the United
States, check in with the government. And then he deported a bunch of them.
Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas and a total of 15,000
Iranians were forced to leave the USA in 1979.
So, what do you say about all of the criticism that Donald Trump received
from the Democratic senators, representatives and the Obama Administration?
Additionally, it is important to note that the McCarran-Walter Act also
requires that an "applicant for immigration must be of good moral character and
in agreement with the principles of our Constitution."
Therefore, one could surmise that since the Quran forbids Muslims to swear
allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, technically, ALL Muslims should, or could,
be refused immigration to OUR country.
