There are illegals in the state, they just don't have any RIGHTS.

PASS THIS ON TO ALL AMERICANS!

Missouri has no illegals; go figure... shouldn't the other states do the same?
Missouri's approach to the problem of illegal immigration appears to be more
advanced, sophisticated, strict and effective than anything to date in Arizona .
Does the White House appreciate what Missouri has done? So, why doesn't
Missouri receive attention? Answer: There are no illegals in Missouri to
demonstrate. (And the Media doesn't want to publicize that fact!)

The "Show Me" state has again shown us how it should be done. There needs
to be more publicity and exposure regarding what Missouri has done. Please pass
this around.

In 2007, Missouri placed on the ballot a proposed constitutional amendment
designating English as the official language of Missouri In November, 2008, nearly
90% voted in favor! Thus, English became the official language for ALL
governmental activity in Missouri . No individual has the right to demand
government services in a language OTHER than English.

In 2008, a measure was passed that required the Missouri Highway Patrol and
other law enforcement officials to verify the immigration status of any person arrested,
and inform federal authorities if the person is found to be in Missouri illegally.
Missouri law enforcement officers receive specific training with respect to enforcement
of federal immigration laws.

In Missouri, illegal immigrants do NOT have access to taxpayer benefits such as
food stamps or health care through Missouri Health NET.

In 2009, a measure was passed that ensures Missouri 's public institutions of
higher education do NOT award financial aid to individuals who are illegally in the
United States .

In Missouri all post-secondary institutions of higher education are required to
annually certify to the Missouri Dept. of Higher Education that they have NOT
knowingly awarded financial aid to students who are unlawfully present in the United
States

It is important to remember, Missouri has been far more proactive in addressing
this horrific problem. Missouri has made it clear that illegal immigrants are NOT
WELCOME in the state and they will NOT receive public benefits at the expense of
Missouri taxpayers.

DON'T DELETE THIS, AMERICA . KEEP IT GOING UNTIL WE GET ALL 50 STATES TO COMPLY!

VIEW: 18-18: At Long Last Approved

VIEW FROM HERE
By Bob McDowell (Born Neil Carson) Number 18-18
AT LONG LAST APPROVED Week of 2018/04/30
It seems to me like almost forever since my own Congressman, Jim Bridenstine OK-1,
was nominated by then President Elect Trump to be the Administrator of NASA
(National Air and Space Administration), although it has been 18 months or so. We are
told that a few of the Senators, required by the Constitution to approve of such
nominations, have held up this, and many other, nominations and for personal or partisan
purposes. Such attitudes are definitely not in order for the 'good of the Nation' as their
oath of office states that they will act for!
Finally, on Thursday, April 19, 2018, the Senate held a vote which turned out to
be 50 to 49, with one Democrat not voting because she is 'out for pregnancy'. I'm happy
for her to welcome the addition to her family but even more so that it caused her absence
for the vote. Had she been there, the vote would have been a tie and Vice-President
Pence was out of town on National business and unavailable to assume his position as
President of the Senate to cast a tie-breaking vote. Fortunately, Senator Marco Rubio,
R-FL, finally 'grew up' and ended his opposition based mainly on personal issues. We
are told these issues centered around Jim's support for Senator Ted Cruse, R-TX for
President. Sen. Rubio should have been man enough to realize that Texas is adjoining
Oklahoma on the South and is so much closer than Florida in politics and geography.
In all of this, there has been continuing and loud criticism by the Democrat side of
the Senate, and others, of the slow movement of the Administration on making
appointments. Well, as of 10:35 Friday, April 20 there were 139 still waiting on approval
in the Senate and there were only 102, or 43%, of the nominations so far approved. That
is the lowest percentage approval at this stage in national history. The numbers include
judges for various Federal Courts. This delay is highly unethical and seems to me to be
deliberate stalling to defeat the agenda of PRESDT-45 on the part of the minority caucus
in the Senate - Democrat. Frankly just another example of the usual tactics of those of the
C/S followers, that is accusing your opponents of doing exactly what you are doing!!
Actually, the might have been hurting their own future position in the House. My
house informant stated that whoever is elected to fill the seat Bridenstine is early vacating
will immediately be sworn in, since the seat is vacant, and not wait until January when the
rest of the newly elected 'freshmen' take office. Thus he will have a superior seniority
position to the rest of the class and be in a stronger position to represent our First District
and the State.
Had the approval come before the end of 2017 we would have elected a
replacement in a special election and already be represented, with even more seniority in
the 'class of 2018. As it is, we in the First District will not be represented in any vote for
six months until after the November election. However, both the Tulsa and Washington
office staffs will remain and be available to assist and advise constituents, as they have a
few times for me.
We wish the Congressman, now Director, well and as I told him when he first
announced for Congress: "I shall expect outstanding things from you". Well he far
exceeded my wildest hopes and it is with complete confidence that the expectation is the
same in his new duties. Frankly, it had been my forlorn hope, given the facts of the make
up of Congress, that he would become Speaker of the House or maybe go to the Senate,
should Senator Inhofe decide to retire.
Word has come to me that he may have to resign his commission as Lt. Colonel in
the OK National Guard and thus lose flying status there. No word on whether he will be
able to maintain flight proficiency in the new position, although I would expect it because
the astronauts did. Otherwise it would be expected that 'cloud fit' would show up, as
with me.

THE CONSERVATIVE VIEW

BY RUSSELL TURNER

A HOUSE DIVIDED

I have been involved in politics for many years, and I have observed that there are two types of individuals who become involved in politics. There are those who make their living off of the government, and there are those who are creating wealth and paying the taxes that keep our government operating. While a huge portion of our citizens don't have a clue about how government works, those of us who have some skin in the game understand it all too well. Like many other blue collar people we have become involved in an effort to keep more of the money that we earn from our hard work and investment. We care enough for our country to devote our spare time and treasure to try to maintain the free enterprise economic system that our country was founded upon. Ever since the strike by the Oklahoma Education Association (OEA) there has been a constant call for an ever-increasing list of demands and concessions concerning education as a whole.

The most recent idea floated into the public domain is the proposal to close the school system on Election Day. Some schools have already adopted this idea, and I recently heard that Tulsa Public Schools is also seeking approval from the Board of Education. One of the claims is to make it easier for the teachers to go vote. While all of this may sound good to some people I do not agree with it. I have never worked anywhere where the business was closed on Election Day. For anyone who wants to vote, here in Oklahoma it is an easy thing to do. A person can vote absentee by mail or absentee in person before Election Day, and the polls are open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on Election Day. If a person cares enough to go and vote there is ample time to do it. The only businesses that are closed on Election Day are the liquor stores. We live in a world that demands instant gratification; we would not even consider closing service businesses such as auto repair shops, plumbing shops, etc. We need to remember that what goes on in the state capital affects those trades just as much as anyone in the education field.

Another item is the practice of sending delegations of educators to the state capital to lobby the legislators instead of fulfilling their contract of teaching children. Several years ago there was an outcry from the taxpayers over the practice of government agencies taking part of their appropriated budget to hire lobbyists to clamor for more money from the legislature; there is not a whole lot of difference in what is happening now. I have made several trips to the state capital over the years to voice my opinion over some issue, but when I went I lost a day's pay and had the expense of driving myself; can the same be said for these delegations? The whole idea of a representative form of government is to elect people who ask the people in their respective districts what is needed in that district. A good representative listens to ALL the people, not just the biased mainstream media and the mob. It seems so ironic that the people who do have some skin in the game are often minimized and looked down on for trying to keep more of the money they worked for. Too many of our lawmakers are completely terrified of the media and unions; until they grow a backbone and start listening to all sides we will live in a divided state. President Abraham Lincoln once made the point that a house divided will not stand.

Fw: Kissinger on Trump - Interesting Read

A refreshingly different type of statement from Kissinger. Very unlike his historic
type of pontification. More in line with what we USA lovers want to happen.
Original in was one word per line and couldn't read it so changed format to
'Plain Text' to make it readable, and copyable.

Subject: Fwd: Kissinger on Trump - Interesting Read

Some interesting observations by a most certainly qualified observer.

Recently , Henry Kissinger did an interview and said very amazing things
regarding President Trump, He starts with: "Donald Trump is a phenomenon that
foreign countries haven't seen."
The former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger gives us a new understanding of
President Donald Trump's foreign policy and predicts its success:
"Liberals and all those who favor (Hillary) Clinton will never admit it. They will
never admit that he is the one true leader. The man is doing changes like never before
and does all of it for the sake of this nation's people. After eight years of tyranny, we
finally see a difference."
Kissinger knows it and he continues with: "Every country now has to consider
two things: One, their perception that the previous president, or the outgoing president,
basically withdrew America from international politics, so that they had to make their
own assessments of their necessities. And secondly, that there is a new president
who's asking a lot of unfamiliar questions. And because of the combination of the
partial vacuum and the new questions, one could imagine that something remarkable
and new emerges out of it."
Then Kissinger puts it bluntly: "Trump puts America and its people first. This is
why people love him and this is why he will remain in charge for so long. There is not
a single thing wrong with him and people need to open their eyes."
When he boasts that he has a "bigger red button" than Kim Jung Un does, he so
transcends the mealy-mouthed rhetoric of the past that he forces a new recognition of
American power.
Kissinger once wrote, "The weak grow strong by effrontery. The strong grow
weak through inhibition." No sentence better captures the U.S.-North Korea
relationship. Trump is discarding the inhibitions and call the bluff on North Korea's
effrontery. His point is that the contrast of American retreat under Obama and its
new assertion of power under Trump creates a new dynamic that every one of our
allies and of our enemies must consider.
Our allies grew complaisant with Obama's passivity and now are fearful due to
Trump's activism. And they must balance the two in developing their policies. They
realize that the old assumptions, catalyzed by Bush 43's preoccupation with Iraq and
Obama's refusal to lead are obsolete. So, Trump is forcing a new calculus with a new
power behind American interests.
Those — here and abroad — who rode the old apple cart worry about its being toppled.

VIEW FROM HERE
By Bob McDowell (Born Neil Carson) Number 18-17
NEWS MIS-REPORTING Week of 2018/04/23
As one who 'grew up' in the oil business, refining and marketing, and spent
around fifty years, after college and military, in the exploration, producing, and
transporting end it continues to irk me the way that reporters, editors, and 'news
chiefs' continually fail to use proper terms in stories with relationships to those fields.
Case in point; a story in the Tulsa daily paper the first week of April datelined
"Aberdeen S.D. (AP)" carried the headline "Oil spill first estimated at 210,000
'gallons' now said to be 407,000". The first thing of irritation is that anyone at all
familiar with the oil exploration, production, and transportation business KNOWS
that oil is always listed in "barrels". Gallons are used once the products are
produced in refineries for sale. For the previously uniformed, a 'barrel' of oil
consists of 42 gallons. On the other hand, in the oil field a 'barrel' of water is 30
gallons.
For a number of years it confused me why the difference. Then it dawned on
me. In the earliest days of drilling for and producing oil there were no pipelines and
it had to be carried out in barrels on wagons, then trucks and rail cars. In mule train
wagons, the weight made a huge difference. A gallon of fresh water normally weighs
8 pounds while a gallon of oil is expected to weigh 7, with slight differences for the
'grade' of crude. The 'posted' price for a barrel of oil in the field at the time that my
retirement as a 'producer' happened, in 1999, was based on '40 API gravity' with
discounts of a cent or two for each degree above or below that base.
The story in the paper did not mention how the spill came to happen, except
that there was some damage to the pipeline. That almost aside remark caused me
to suspect that the damage could very well happened deliberately when construction
was shut down for the night, keeping in mind the protests that took place, with some
violence involved. My suspicion then then that these were funded by outside interests
desiring damage to the USA economy. That has not been allayed in the years since.
The story does state the line was the "Keystone Pipeline in South Dakota", but not
which line built and operated by TransCanada, as they operate more than one, and
my impression was that the Keystone had not been built from the Canadian border
across Dakotas and Nebraska.
Spills from line damage can also be caused by other construction digging into
the line, just as it is sometimes in cities. It should be noted that there has been serious
opposition to the Keystone line from companies like Berkshire Hathaway, which owns
BNSF railroad and has reportedly on order over 1,000 tank cars to haul crude.
Recent history has numerous instances of deliberate damage to trains, including 'unit
trains' hauling oil. Some of these have seemed more of a terrorist source than just
equipment failure, but reports on them seem to cease prior to those of the final
investigation. Regardless, the record indicates that pipelines are much safer than
railroads or trucks, and charge even more less to the shipper than any other
transportation, even river barges.
Incidentally, the prices one hears on radio or sees in TV or print has little bearing
on the price actually being paid at the 'wellhead' (actually coming out of the tank on the
lease). Those prices, which fluctuate about daily, are for oil "futures", that is a gamble
that at a certain time in the future oil will be selling at the listed price. Several years
ago
when those prices were just above $200.00 per barrel, the price being received by my
late wife, Anne, was just a little over half that. And in my memory my production
beginning in October 1954 was $2.69 in Nebraska. Lest one believes that oil producers
are 'getting away with robbery'. But then costs have escalated exponentially since as a
well there could be drilled to almost 7,000 feet at a contract price of $15,000.

VIEW FROM HERE
By Bob McDowell (Born Neil Carson) Number 18-16
TEACHER UNION STRIKE Week of 2018/04/16
As this is begun the 'walkout'/strike called by the NEA/OEA, and apparently
endorsed by a majority of school boards and superintendents, has entered into the
second week of disruption of the 'people's business in the State Capitol. Numerous
reports indicate that outside the State potential rioters have been brought in to, in my
opinion, bring major pressure on legislators to 'steal' more of the population,
'taxpayers', money for bloated and, again my opinion, overpaid and overstaffed school
administrations. Particularly true in the larger districts such as Tulsa Public Schools
where the Superintendent is reportedly paid more than the Governor. This seems
improper to me, that any government employee be paid more than the State Chief
Executive.
As each day goes by with most schools in the State closed, and even teachers
and students wanting to be in class 'locked out' by the order of the School Board
members, many preplanned functions and travels for the rest of the Spring appear to
be in jeopardy for students and families. Also some seniors have run into problems
with not being able to finish entrance examinations necessary for admission to
universities of choice. That information came from at least one parent concerned over
the problems being faced by a child. Certainly there are numerous other issues being
effected by this 'totally illegal' strike, called 'walkout'.
The thing that bothers me even more is the apparently eager cooperation on the
part of the management of the participating districts and their school boards. Also
entering into the picture is the reported participation of outside the State individuals
and groups. Some of these could very well be of a more nefarious ilk there for the
purpose of disruption and disturbance. There have already been a few reports of
such actions going on, to the point that the Capitol security removed the legislature
staff 'for their own protection' at least one day. Also it seems that those in the
House chamber on the first day were so disruptive of the proceedings that it was
necessary for the chair to order the galleries cleared by security.
Further down the road, the main morning talk show host here played excerpts
from the cable networks, supporting the C/S movement that indicated to me the
whole thing was set up by them and the Democrat Party management to, they hope,
wreck destruction on the PRESDT-45 administration and the mid-term elections.
One statement that stood out to me was to the effect that the walkouts were taking
place in all the 'red states', which of course includes Oklahoma.
That suggested to me that this whole mess has been developed by the
Democrat National Committee leaders and Congressional leaders in order to, they
hope, have an effect on the outcome of the mid-term Congressional elections, as well
as some local State elections this year. It wouldn't surprise me to find that to be the
case, since individuals of the C/S mentality seem to have little regard for any people
except for themselves and the power they can gain over the rest of us "deplorables".
Frankly, the actions of some school district leaders in shutting the whole district down
and, I have been told, even refusing to allow teachers in their district who want to
onto the properties.
The presence of outside troublemakers was indicated, in my opinion, even
before showing up in daily news(?)papers as being existent by the rude, inconsiderate,
and even threatening actions that were taken in the Legislature chambers, at least the
first day. Those individuals guilty of disrupting the regular conduct of Legislative
business should have been removed AND incarcerated. Unfortunately, I have come
to expect that inaction on the part of 'law enforcement' in the Capitol City. Thankfully
there have not been reported instances of law enforcement being ordered to "Stand
down" like was done in Baltimore MD and in Missouri. Those were disastrous there
and for the rest of us.

THE CONSERVATIVE VIEW

BY RUSSELL TURNER

A BUCKET OF ROCKS

With all of the talk about schools and school security, I can think of one course that needs to be added to the curriculum. We need a course on the theory and application of a slingshot. In biblical times there was the story about a shepherd boy named David who was able to kill a giant warrior named Goliath with a little stone and a simple slingshot. I have no doubt that the story was true, but the key reason for his success was the ability to hit his opponent with a projectile while he was out of reach of his opponent. Recently I read an article where a school district in Pennsylvania has placed five gallon buckets of rocks in the classrooms so the children could throw rocks at any would-be shooters who came into the school to do harm.

The superintendent of Blue Mountain School District, Dr. David Helsel, was quoted as saying, "If an armed intruder attempts to gain entrance to any of our classrooms, they will face a classroom full of students armed with rocks and they will be stoned." Whether this highly educated superintendent was serious or just trying to get publicity I do not know, but putting forth such a ridiculous idea does no good to solve the school safety problem. Unlike the story of David and Goliath, the bad guys will have the ability to shoot someone at a greater distance than anyone could ever throw a rock. Even though many schools have evacuation drills for active shooters, I have often said that the best solution would be to search for retired police offices and veterans who know how to use a gun safely and who have the ability to put down a shooter before he has the ability to inflict death.

I have found that too many people have the attitude that a problem is solved even though the solution they are promoting is completely absurd. If bullets start flying I am sure the last thing the kids will think of is to get a handful of rocks to throw at someone who is unloading a modern firearm at them. If the rock idea is so good maybe we need to have all of the secret service agents who are guarding president Trump have a pocket full of river rocks to fend off any person who would want to do harm to our president. Throughout my life I have used many rocks to kill snakes and other unwanted varmints, but those varmints and snakes didn't have the ability harm me from a distance. Instead of foolish ideas we need to limit entry access to our facilities and use modern technology such as metal detectors to screen anyone coming into the facility. It is a sad fact that in today's society we also need professionals who have the skills to stop an armed intruder. In today's world a slingshot simply won't do.
